Way 2 Do It

For a Sustainable Future

Our Mission

In this time of high record-breaking temperatures, the impacts of climate change are far-reaching in their intensity, and at this time, when the world needs tangible climate action at every level, our Mission is to help companies in establishing a base-line, and guide organizations in developing and implementing robust and impactful climate and sustainability action strategies.

We assist organisations especially within the tourism and hospitality sector to effectively translate their targets into concrete actions that will achieve measurable results and meaningful contributions towards a sustainable future.

Over the last few years, we have developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that companies and organizations face in addressing the changes that will allow them to transition to a net-zero climate economy where Green House Gas emissions output is balanced with the removal of carbon from the atmosphere via carbon sinks (e.g., forest conservation and re-growth, regenerative agriculture, carbon capture and storage, renewable energy, fuel switch, etc.).  Our solutions are tailor-made to the specific needs and challenges of our clients, ensuring robust compliance with their GHG targets and climate commitments.

Our message is clear: achieving net-zero emissions is a complex and multi-faceted challenge that cannot be solved with a single “one size fits all” approach. Each organization must consider its emission profile, maturity, vulnerability, capabilities, and available resources to create an effective pathway toward ecological sustainability and net-zero emissions.

Whilst setting net-zero targets and developing products and services both within the company and in concert with its local partners are vital steps for organizations to achieve their carbon reduction and sustainability goals, it is crucial to recognize that the evolution towards lower emissions is a gradual and collective effort from every part and employee in the organization and it requires readiness and collaboration by all to achieve.

We must actively work together towards achieving real emissions reductions. Merely divesting from high-intensive carbon assets is insufficient. Instead, our economy needs to adopt a comprehensive approach that involves active engagement with our suppliers and surroundings and support for our local communities in their transition towards more sustainable, lower-carbon alternatives. Sustainability and net zero mean more than just balancing carbon emissions. What really is required is a transformational change.

It is therefore essential to acknowledge that net zero is not a stand-alone goal, but an iterative transformation that encompasses both Economic, Environmental, Social, and Governance dimensions. It involves reimagining business models, rethinking stakeholder engagement, and fostering collaboration across sectors and organizations to not only reduce organizations’ environmental impact but also to help restore and regenerate ecosystems while building natural capital.
